Developed in conjunction with the What’s Your Type course at the School of Visual Arts, this workshop was an effort to liberate the undergrad class from the traditional and modern tools of type design. Using a variety of purchased and custom-soldered light sources, the students developed a typeface unique to them, their shared shared collaboration and the reach of their arms and legs.
